Eric & Cindy-October 6th

I love doing fall weddings! Even though it felt more like summer, there were leaves crunching under my feet and that makes me excited for the change of season coming. Eric and Cindy were a really neat couple. Their wedding was an incredible day of redemption. During worship, I was welling up with tears. The presence of the LORD was in that room and it was sweet to be there! In between the wedding and reception, we went to a beautiful farm that was pretty much made for pictures. An old barn, stone mill, and stone house. Eric (my husband) and I enjoyed our day together as we captured Eric and Cindy's special day. We know that God has led the two of you together. He has opened doors that no man can shut and has shut doors that no man can open. Your marriage will be a strong one and a living testimony to the world that marriage is only possible through God. Blessings as you begin your life together as Mr. & Mrs. Moore.

Maddie-October 8th

Rise and shine...bright and early Maddie and I met for her senior pictures. She is a Donegal High School senior who happened to have the day off school for Columbus Day. Her friend, Danielle from Canada was along and helped to keep the cat out of the pictures. This furry thing kept rubbing up against Maddie and really wanted to get its picture taken. Maddie is a sweet girl with a lot of spunk. It was fun to see her interacting with Danielle in between pictures. She couldn't stop giggling when I would start snapping. We went to a local residence and also a nearby meadow. We still were sweating in October...when will this humidity end?! Maddie wants to go to college to study foreign languages. Her goal is to be fluent in 6 different ones. You go, girl! That's quite impressive. Maddie, I am encouraged by your love of Christ and know that you will reach many for Him as you continue to pursue the call of God on your life. You are beautiful and it was fun to see your radiant spirit shine through in these pictures.

Higgins Family-Sept. 30th

Down in the meadow where Erin and her sister both got married was where I did this family photo shoot. It was so much fun to take Mike and Erin back to the spot where they got married 6 years ago, but this time with their two kids, Luke and Stella. Oh what fun! The weather was crisp and beautiful and the kids were full of energy. Luke enjoys being outside exploring so it was pretty easy to keep him entertained. Mike and Erin live in Delaware and were up for the weekend for her sister's wedding. The Higgins have a really sweet and gentle spirit about them and really love their children and each other. Mike just finished building their house before they came up for the wedding. Hopefully some of the images I captured will line their new walls! Mike and Erin, thanks for the opportunity to do your family pictures and share the evening with you. Gideon enjoyed playing with your kids and hopefully Piper (your 155-pound dog!) wasn't too jealous when she smelled his scent on you.

My two guys...

...if taking pictures of my husband and our puppy is so much fun, imagine how fun it will be to take pictures of our kids someday! For now, Gideon is my baby and he is fun to capture. Before a family photo shoot on Sunday night, I was watching him and Eric interact in this gorgeous meadow. Here's what I saw...

Tessa-Sept. 29th

On Saturday morning, I got Tessa to wake up early and do a photo shoot with me in Mount Joy. That's a big sacrifice to give up a Saturday morning that could have been spent sleeping in for a high school senior. Tessa plays field hockey and track at Donegal High School. They just so happen to be a big LMH rival. It seems every year they go back and forth winning and losing to each other. Tessa is a friend of my sister-in-law, Roanna so that's how I had the opportunity to meet her and do her pictures. We had a lot of fun at the Gingrich property. They have so many beautiful backdrops and it was fun to see Tessa's gentle and sweet spirit come out more and more as I snapped away. Tessa, enjoy this last year of high school. It will go fast. I pray that you would know which college you are to go to for medicine. I know that LORD has great plans for your future.
