Momma & Son

His momma knows how to make him giggle with glee! And sweet little Brennan has the best dimples to show off. Dori is a dear friend of mine so this session was extra special. We were pregnant at the same time two years ago and are both now expecting again this fall. Little B and our son, Isaac are only 8 weeks apart and are second cousins. Dori's husband, Marvin is my cousin. We enjoyed an evening in our meadow and then had dinner on the grill and smores around the campfire. Now, that was a fantastic photo session in my book! Hess Family

Photographing friends is always a blast, especially when they are fellow photographers. Kelly is a dear friend and our kids love to play together. This past weekend we had a fun little family portrait session complete with ice cream cones. It doesn't get much better for the kiddos! And maybe mom and dad didn't mind either. Elijah, Ella, and Jude are full of passion and as cute as can be. It's best to just hold down the shutter because their looks are so fleeting and they won't repeat them no matter how much I beg :) Joel & Kelly, you are excellent parents and I can see the love you have for each other and your kids as I watch you interacting. Life is full and fun when you guys are around!

Mother's Day

In honor of Mother's Day tomorrow (and since we have a wedding), Eric did a two-minute session with me and the boys this morning. He took us out for breakfast, stopped in at a local greenhouse and got me a beautiful planter, and we get to just spend the day together as a family. I feel loved and appreciated by everyone!
