Most guys don't really know what to say about themselves when I ask them to write a short blog bio when I photograph their senior portraits. Dylan, on the other hand gave me this in less than a few hours...
First and foremost, I enjoy spending time with my amazing family. I love to workout and play sports. I'm always looking for an adventure, whether it's hunting at our cabin, kayaking in a local river, or hiking the Swiss Alps. I am planning on attending Messiah College to study Entrepreneurship, where I will grow both my faith, and my understanding of business. I am passionate about relationships, and meeting new people.
Folks, this guy right here is who you want your little boys to grow up to be like. At least, I know I sure do. Kind. Genuine. Passionate. Bold. Handsome. Gentle. Fun. Full of faith and love for others. And one fun fact he left out...he is the youngest of seven children. Lasting legacy right there!

Celebrating Noah...
The grandparents came over for supper, cake and ice cream and we enjoyed loving on little Noah. He is so excited about his new bubble lawn mower and sand toys! Thankful for a beautiful evening to be outside together.

Oh To Be Two...
Today, Noah Jude is celebrating two years of life. What a joy he has been since the day he was born. Full of joy love and laughter. He requests to "kiss you on your cheek", loves to give hugs, needs to be sung a song as he goes to sleep, and plays quietly and happily with his siblings. We are so thankful for the gift of his precious life and praise Jesus for the opportunity to be called his parents. Happy birthday, to our sweet baby of the family!

Lionhearts & Kittens...
My dear Isaac is affectionately named our lionheart. But oh, is he ever a tender warrior. There are nine new kittens in the barn and he is the one who can't put them down. Ever. His passion coupled with tenderness is a force to be reckoned with. LORD, help me to give him all that he needs. Boundaries and space, all at the same time. Can you guess how Noah feels about the new barn babies? Haha!

Performing Arts
After her two brothers went through preschool, I thought maybe it was just my kids who despised being front and center. The ones who wouldn't even lip sync. The ones who refused to do any motions. Hid behind everyone. Then I had a daughter and that theory went out the window. She lights up when her feet hit the stage. Hadassah LOVES to perform and it is a true joy to watch her sing her heart out and do all the motions to a "T" and ham it up. She is our precious star and boy does she shine...

Happy Easter
I realized I never posted any Easter pictures of our day with my parents. Better late than never. It felt more like summer than early spring but it was so fun to be outside together. The kids loved finding eggs, taking tractor rides, playing games, and reading Grandpa's magazines. A day well spent!

Like Spring Chickens...
The annual Martin cousins egg hunt happened yesterday and 8 of the 10 cousins participated. Two little babes were napping. After the kids' had their egg hunt they requested to hide them for the grown ups to do an egg hunt. Even the oldest family member got in on the fun. It's always so fun to see the kids running around together at Grandpa and Grandma's house.
