I've known them pretty much my entire life. We grew up going to church together and now are neighbors. Our boys are in school together and we started doing date swaps. 6 kids one night equals zero kids another night. Yes, please! We enjoyed a gator ride through trails and puddles around 200 acres on a beautiful location for this session. I am thankful for the opportunity to capture these childhood friends and their beautiful little family.
Today Malakai has off school and the world just seemed right again to have all three of my children together. I think we are all breathing easier. We went consignment shopping, to the library, Subway and Rita's. With no melt downs....my peace maker was present and that folks, makes all the difference. I love to see them playing together. Farming or match box cars, it makes no difference. Thank you, LORD for the refreshment of a day off to spend with each other doing fun things.
The grandparents came over to celebrate Hadassah's birthday with a picnic outside followed by some cake and a few gifts. The beloved stroller and baby were the highlight of the evening and many miles have been clocked on this thing already just since last night. She's one happy little girl!
She has stolen our hearts with her sweet and passionate personality. Although she has two older brothers, she loves to wear dresses. And loves animals. And insists on doing everything by herself. She has boldness like only a girl with her name would. My favorite thing to do with her is snuggle her before bed, hold her hand and sing and pray with her. My heart melts every single time. She is our precious star (that's what Hadassah means) and we are excited to celebrate her life today.
