Lehman Family

I've always felt an easy connection to them. Eric's aunt and uncle and cousins drove down from Dillsburg/Mechanicsburg for a family session with me. They think it might have been 10 years since the last time they did anything like this. Always joking, laughing, or singing, they seem to share a special closeness that not all families enjoy. Meet the Lehman's...

Scott & Annie: Engaged

They met two years ago when Scott was in the middle of an internship with Disney's Hollywood Studios Guest Relations and Annie was working in a temporary position at the same park during the busy holiday season. They met on her third day of training and their first date was just a few months later. He took her to an indoor ice sculpting show in Florida and then out for dinner. They fell in love but had to spend 9 months apart, sustaining a long distance relationship. They currently live in NY and are planning a destination wedding in Lancaster at the Cork Factory Hotel next August! It has been an honor and privilege to be a part of their lives. Annie's family is from Missouri and Scott's is from New York so they are all flying/driving in to witness the day these two become one. They wanted to do their engagement portraits in Lancaster so we had fun finding different locations together. Scott & Annie, I am so excited for your wedding next year and I know that God will continue to write your love story page by page in the months to come.

Jamie & Amanda: California Wedding

I've known Jamie for 10 years now. He was my summer camp director at Black Rock Retreat when I was a counselor and we've been good friends ever since. His passion for youth is so evident and he can literally relate to any kid. It's so fun to watch him interact with teenagers. A little over a year ago he moved to California to take a youth pastor position at a church in southern California. A few months later, he met Amanda and the two become inseparable very quickly. Wonder if he sang, "I Wish They All Could Be California Girls"?

In April they were engaged and asked if Eric and I would want to photograph their wedding. We debated for awhile...just kidding! We said YES! immediately and two weeks ago the much anticipated trip finally happened. What an amazing experience for us a couple (we left Malakai with Grandpa and Grandma Landis) and as photographers (first West Coast wedding). Sunny and warm (no humidity) and gorgeous locations to shoot in left us speechless.

They opted to see each other before the ceremony to have plenty of time for creative portraits. They took us to Redlands University and an old train station. We then came back to Amanda's parents' home for the ceremony and reception. Married by a pool, with palm trees in the background...can you picture it yet? Their wedding day was a day to celebrate God's redeeming grace in all of our lives. They have one incredible testimony for the world to see and hear and I am so excited to have been a part of this day when two became one. We love you both! I know you've all been curious so I won't keep you waiting any longer. Here's another wedding...California style.
