Cousins in the Snow

One last round of fun in the snow before 50 degrees and rain coming this week. Clayton came down from State College for the weekend and we enjoyed some sled rides and fort building together. Thank goodness for snow gear and spot lights! These kids were out in the dark riding around on the sleds behind the cub cadet at Grandpa and Grandma's house! Who has time to be cold when you're having fun with your cousins?!?!

Blizzard 2016

What a delight for our four kids to enjoy a huge winter wonderland to build forts, go sledding, and have a snowball fight or two. School has been cancelled the last two days and the wood stove is busy drying out wet snow pants, coats, gloves, hats, and boots. Smores in the wood stove was a highlight along with game playing and movie watching. Eric even made his famous shoo fly pie!

Miracle In The Making...

These two amazing people are experiencing a miracle. One that is astounding the doctors and giving glory to the God of the Impossible. Already parents to two incredible kiddos through adoption, they are adding to their tribe with a biological blessing. I have photographed their family numerous times over the years and have always had a great love and respect for them. Our hearts are connected as we have both experienced the miracle of adoption. And after many years of heartache, we have now both shared in pregnancies and (...in the near future for Liz) the birth of biological children. I loved hearing their story and get teary eyed thinking about my own journey with being a momma. This little boy is so blessed and we can't wait to meet him!
