Noah Jude

It wasn't the easiest entrance into the world, but God's hand of protection was on all of us. After 28+ hours of labor, seven days past my due date, we headed to the hospital to see what was going on. After about 3 minutes of being in triage, it was decided that I would need to have an emergency c-section. Noah's heart rate dropped significantly after each one of my contractions and then spiked. This pattern could not continue much longer. We got into the operating room at 2:16am and he was born at 2:34, just 18 minutes later. It was scary, traumatic, and totally unexpected, but we knew that God was with us the entire journey. The best gift we could have been given at that point, weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz and measured 22.5 inches long. Noah Jude, our beloved fourth child came into the world and breathed his first. Praise the LORD for this miracle!

Long Awaited, Much Loved...

Our fourth child arrived on Sunday, one week past his expected arrival, but at just the right time. Weighing 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 22.5 inches long, Noah Jude is perfect and we are in love once more!

Two Men & A Little Lady

Last Mother's Day with just these three kiddos. #4 should arrive any day now. The kids can hardly wait. Neither can I....neither can I. I am thankful for the gift of motherhood. Even in the many days and seasons of crazy chaos, my heart whispers..."You were made for this!" I love my children dearly. I hope they will always know that.
