The Birthday Girl

Cinnamon rolls for her birthday treat with just the six of us and then when the grandparents came over a few days later, She requested a star cake with a 5 in the middle. I think we filled her order ;) This year we gave her one of my childhood toys and she couldn't have been more thrilled. My Little Pony Perm Shoppe. I remember playing for hours on end with this and everyone is delighted to play with her too. Look at all those Legacy Builders sweatshirts...they wear their Daddy's business name proudly! Oh to be five again...

Hadassah is Five Today...

She has been counting down to her birthday for a week now...6 more days, 4 more days, 2 more days...and today is the day! She turns five and she couldn't be more excited. Starting this day off with pancakes and then she gets her hair cut, and probably lots of other treats and pampering. We are so thankful for this little determined, charming, beautiful daughter of ours. Happy birthday, sweetheart!

Mom's Surprise 65th Birthday Party

This past weekend, my mom thought we were just getting a family photo of us around dad's Dodge Swinger at our house, but little did she know that she was about to roll in to her surprise 65th birthday party...We got her so good. Look at that face! Her dear friend, Dottie helped me tremendously in the kitchen...and the mashtini bar was a huge hit. I am so thankful that the LORD gave us such a gorgeous day to honor Mom!

First Day of Preschool

The Girls

The 5th annual "Girls Only" portraits took place over the weekend. When Hadassah was a baby, mom requested to do portraits of the three of us and we have done it yearly ever since. It was a gorgeous night in the orchard and Eric is one amazing photographer. I am thankful for this tradition that us ladies all look forward to...
