Water Wagon

We'll do anything to keep cool these days. Mommy even got in the kiddy pool this morning with the boys! Felt good to cool off and laugh with them. I need to do that more!

Daddy's Little Helpers

While I was putting Isaac down for his nap, I asked Eric to watch Hadassah. I came out to this scene and she could not have been happier. I love that she's Daddy's little girl.

This morning, Malakai and Eric went out for breakfast and then to get Eric's hunting license. Ya know...boy stuff. He was all excited when he was telling me about how many pancakes he ate and how him and Daddy were laughing together. So thankful they can spend time together one on one.

Beany Babies

We are dog sitting for some friends' for five days. We now have two dogs, two cats, two bunnies, three kiddos, and lots of action around here! Yesterday and today, my mom and all the others mentioned above helped me to put 1.5 bushel of green beans in our freezer. It's a process to get everything done and take care of all the little people and animals that need my attention too. Thankful to have a full freezer again!

Horn Family

Kristy won a gift certificate for a free family session with me while at a MOPS pampering day at her church. Her daughter, Ayla is turning one on July 30th and these pictures were taken in celebration of this upcoming event. Little Ayla enjoys playing peek-a-boo, dancing and music (especially VeggieTales),  and playing with her dog, Champ.  She started walking at ten months and is quite an inquisitive little girl.  Constantly on the go!  Her favorite toys are her stuffed animals and kitchen play set.  Ayla has won the heart of her mommy and daddy and I enjoyed spending an evening together with them in the park capturing their love for each other.

Adventure To North Carolina

Last week our family went on a fun adventure to North Carolina to visit our dear friends, Ryan & Denise and their boys, Hayden and Ezekiel. There were moments of traveling bliss and moments that were not so blissful, but overall the kids did pretty well and we enjoyed making lots of memories together. Fireworks, pool fun, train ride, carousel, mini golf, good eats, and lots of laughter. Thankful we have these memories for a lifetime.
