That's What Grandmas Do

Today the kids and I visited someone very special to all of us. Grandma Brubaker is her name. 91 years old and still very silly and fun. My kids love spending time with her. I have many amazing memories of growing up knowing her and having a close friendship with her. There is something very magical about a grandmother/granddaughter relationship. As she was handing out the snack, which she is known for, Malakai took the bag of chocolate animal crackers and said, "That's what grandmas do...they give us stuff!" Grandma and I looked at each other and laughed and laughed. I love the memories that we can continue to make and the stories we will tell about her some day.
