Stephen & Emily: A Chord Of Three Strands

To describe them in the words of their pastor: Emily is in the healing profession (she's a nurse) and Stephen is always packin' heat (he's a police officer). These two...Are.The.Real.Deal. Been together almost six years. That's a long time, folks! After hanging out with them all day capturing their wedding story, I have an immense amount of respect for both of them. They are the couple that all of their unmarried friends (and probably some married ones too) look up to and go to for guidance and counsel. They are wise beyond their years. Gentle. Kind. Basically, all the fruits of the Spirit are accounted for between the two of them. What a powerful husband and wife team they are going to be! Their love is secure because of their trust in the LORD and their decision to be fully committed to one another, come what may. No weapon formed against them shall prosper!

Stephen was full of emotion when he saw his beloved bride for the first time on the lawn of a beautiful bed and breakfast, The Inn At Ragged Edge, nearby the church where they would be married. If you were a witness, your eyes were definitely leaking. Mine were. Many times throughout the day, this happened to me, actually. The exchange of vows, their first dance, the best man and matron/maid of honor toasts, the father/daughter dance where Emily's dad sang all the words of the song to her the entire time they danced together. Many sweet moments. An extraordinary couple. An extraordinary wedding day.
