Baby Grayson: Newborn

He was 8 lbs 8 oz of pure love. Wasn't in a hurry to be born on his due date (what's a few extra days, Mommy). And is already adored by his big sister. He was bright eyed and fully awake the entire time I was there for this session and hardly made one peep. For real...great job, Justin and Kelly! You were made for this! Here's the new guy...what a honey! Enjoy all the snuggle time with your sweet son.

Happy Father's Day...A Little Early

It was a secret mission to surprise Matt with a little Father's Day love. Vanessa asked me to capture some images of the kids and their little puppy, Iris at their house as a gift for her husband. We are neighbors and can see each other's houses from across the fields. Malakai asked if I was going to walk there that night for the session. I could've, but driving took about 22 seconds ;) I had so much fun getting to know these kiddos a little better. They are the same ages are our children, minus Noah so I felt right at home! Vanessa couldn't wait until Father's Day to show Matt, so she said I could post a few of my favorites here. Memorial Day Weekend

We're not kiddin' around...we got new baby goats! Star and Flower are the first members of our herd and we are having a blast getting to know them. It's been quite a week. Two new kittens and two new kids within a week. Whew! It's been quite a weekend...

We stayed cool in the kiddie pool. Camped out in our "new to us" pop up camper. Roasted marshmallows. Had some cook outs. Went fishing. Bike riding. Spent time with our extended families. Did yard work. And watched home videos. What a great few days of memory making...

One Is Fun

Noah thinks "one is fun". And so do we. He is quite the character these days. Blowing his nose, making tractor noises, waving to the school bus in the morning, clapping his hands, singing, and just being so stinkin' adorable all the time. He's definitely not a baby any more...

One Candle...

Noah Jude has one candle on his cake today! So thankful for his life and the joy he brings to all of us. Happy birthday, sweet boy! Today, we celebrate you. All.Day.Long!

Pirates and Athletes

Preschool is winding down...as in one more day left of his career. Isaac was a pirate yesterday and boy oh boy was he excited! He's ready to sail on to bigger waters...look out Kindergarten, here he comes in the fall!

And Malakai has one soccer game left of his season. Such a great experience for him to learn to be a part of a team.

These boys...in less than 3 weeks, we'll all be together 24/7. Ready or not...summer is coming. Now if we could just get out of our sweatpants and sweatshirts and put on some shorts and tank tops, that would be enjoyable! This has been some spring...
