Malakai's 3rd Birthday

This past weekend, we celebrated Malakai's upcoming 3rd birthday. It's actually not until this Friday, the 17th but we had some other family get togethers going on and decided to party a little early. He had an absolute blast. It was like all of his favorite people were in one room at the same time and he was overcome with giddyness. Yes, he passed out immediately after everyone went home.

Eric and I have enjoyed making special birthday cakes for him over the last 3 years. First it was a three-dimensional snowman, last year was a car, this year was a tractor. Next year just might be a flat rectangle :) We love our little Malakai and are so blessed by his life. He is one amazing gift to us.

    Malakai is so incredibly fortunate to have such a warm, loving family! I know so many kids who have only had temporary homes their entire lives, and the difference in their faces compared to your son's is striking. The story of your family fills me with hope. God bless you all!
