It's always risky planning an outdoor wedding in early spring but there are many people who go for it anyway. I love that faith-filled spirit! Jeremy & Sarah were willing to risk it and even though their ceremony was under roof, the rain did not hinder our picture taking opportunities. Sure, the weather forecast was calling for massive downpours in our area, but the storm moved (thank you Jesus!) and by the time the rain finally did come, we were already finished with outdoor portraits and we could carry on with no disappointment.
And a beautiful day it was. Lots of tears, a bird cage veil, mandarin-colored accents, handmade details everywhere by the bride and groom, plenty of emotions, well-spoken toasts, insanely good food (to break our sweets and meats fast), and love, love, love. When I met Jeremy & Sarah initially, I knew we would be a great fit for each other on their wedding day and it really felt like Eric and I were in the company of friends. It was such a great wedding to start the season with. These two just make my job as a photographer so effortless, really. They love each other. They respect each other. They honor each other. And they have fun together. Enjoy the journey, love birds...
