Julian & Sarah: Forever United

Saturday, the forecast was looking rather grim for a wedding, but I prayed and asked God to hold back the rain just long enough to take some outside portraits. He was faithful to answer me and as soon as we were leaving the reception and walking out to our car, wouldn't you know...it started POURING!! Eric and I just laughed at the crazy, awesome love of our God. That he would hold back the rain for a wedding day is just one small indication that he is totally in love with us and is able to meet all of our needs and even give us our "wants"!

Julian and Sarah are the sweetest couple. They booked me over a year and half ago since they were both in med school and living in different states (even different coasts) for the past several months. They are both doctors and so is Julian's dad. I'm sure if anyone is sick in their family, one of the three physician's will be able to take care of them! What a blessing.

We met the bridal party at their hotel and traveled into the beloved city of Lancaster for some fun shots. Neither of their families are from Lancaster so Eric and I picked some of our favorite spots to shoot. The Prince St. Cafe was where we started and then headed around the corner to Central Market. Now that we don't live in the city, we forget how much we love doing portraits in there, but we were reminded of the beauty of this place. We were proud to take them downtown for a quick tour.

We also did some shots at Lime Spring Farm right down the road from where the ceremony was being held. It's a brand new wedding venue with some incredible landscaping. The reception was at the Mulberry Arts Studio, another favorite of ours. It was so fun to watch everyone (especially the little kiddos) gettin' their grove on. Julian & Sarah, I hope you had a great honeymoon in NYC. Blessings on your future together. May your marriage be like the mighty oak that is planted by the river. It is never uprooted and bears incredible fruit. Here's a little preview of your day...
