Snapper Stew Anyone?

We had a fun little adventure last night on our evening walk. We stopped at a nearby creek and Eric caught a snapping turtle. Gideon of course was very excited and Malakai was in the Ergo on my back not sure what all the commotion was about. Thankfully, we had a plastic bag with us and so the turtle rode inside, biting the bag the whole way home. So now we have him in a 5 gallon bucket with some water. Not sure what the next step is, but Eric was so proud of his catch!
