Hilary & Ryan: Wedding

A beautiful day (humid and warm, but still wonderful), a sweet couple, a gorgeous wedding venue (Lime Spring Farm), and a tornado warning serious enough to clear out all of the guests from the tent for a good 45 minutes. Yeah, I'd say it was one of the most memorable weddings we've photographed! Hilary, the quiet, handsome groom waited for his bride, Ryan to walk down the aisle. Today he was going to marry the woman he loved. Ryan seemed calm as well as she got ready for her groom. It just felt peaceful being in their presence.

Family ties were very strong and it was so fun to see all the cousins, aunts, and yes, even grandma hit the dance floor. We were all enjoying a great meal and dancing when it started looking quite green and dark outside. They asked everyone to either go into the basement or just inside the farmhouse to wait out the bad storm coming. I'll admit, it made me anxious as my first thought was "I hope my babies are ok at home with the babysitter!" Yes, the worry some mother in me came out. But after about 45 minutes with torrential downpour and lots of lightning strikes, the tornado warning was lifted and the dance floor was mopped up and full of feet once again. Hil & Ryan, here is a little taste of what your first day as husband and wife looked like through our eyes.
