Stoltzfus Family: Fruit of the Womb

I've known these two for many years. Derek, Abby, & their sweet little daughter, Kai'lea are dear friends of Eric and I's. We've laughed and cried together. Traveled together, been to many celebrations together and had our children all within a few months of each other. They are expecting a baby boy to arrive on August 22nd and couldn't be more excited with this little miracle. So they wanted to do three sessions in one: family, Kai's 3-year portraits, and maternity. What fun! Abby's vision was to capture them doing some of their favorite things together. Like hanging out in the back yard, taking a walk, eating ice cream, and playing at the park. How terrible to "have to" eat ice cream during a photo session :) Before we left their house, I spotted some fresh fruit on the counter and had an idea to do something with it during our session. When our son, Isaac was born, my mom got him this adorable little onesie (that he hasn't grown in to yet, but will soon) that says, "fruit of the womb". How fitting.
