Summer Days

This summer has been full of fun activities for our family. A few weeks ago we cut off and froze 31 dozen ears of corn. We'll probably have to do just as much one more time since my mom and I share the bounty. All four of us (Gideon too) love to go hiking in the woods and haven't had many opportunities to do so this summer, but a few weeks ago, we were able to go down to Tucquan Glen for a morning hike. It was just beautiful and exactly what we needed to refresh us. Malakai also got to watch some of his second cousins go fishing in my aunt and uncle's pond. He even got to touch a fish that someone caught! And this past weekend we were up at Raystown Lake with Eric's extended family. Malakai loves the boat rides and still falls asleep because of the motion. We've enjoyed our break from weddings and are excited to start back up again this coming weekend!
