They told us that everything that has ever been extremely important about their relationship has happened in the rain, so I guess the down pour on their wedding day was fitting. I've never seen a bride get so excited about the rain. She emailed me a few days before the wedding saying that she was going to get some fun rain boots and umbrellas and was looking forward to posing in the rain. Lindsey was determined that nothing was going to ruin her wedding day and it definitely didn't. Their outdoor wedding was moved under a tent...a tent with a concrete floor. Now THAT's a real tent, ladies and gentlemen! We were outside taking tons of portraits in the frigid fall rain, but no one was complaining...just laughing and shivering and trying not to think about how wet they were getting. Instead of crying about the rain, we all just danced in it.
Caleb and Lindsey share a deep love. They decided 10 days before the wedding that they didn't want to see each other before the ceremony after all. Caleb really wanted to wait to see his radiant bride for the first time as she came down the aisle to him. She wept the whole way, and so did most of the guests. She's cute and spunky and passionate. What's not to love? These two are in for a lifetime of fun and adventure together. Here's a little view into their beautiful, rainy wedding day.

ReplyDeleteRegina and Eric, I think you both did such a fabulous job! You def. captured the beautiful person and bride my cousin Lindsey was and is! You took wonderful pictures of everything! You are very right in the fact that even though it was rainy and cold, it was still a beautiful day and didn't slow Lindsey and Caleb, or anyone else down! Great job! :) Lisa
