Life Happenings

Summer has been flying by and we have enjoyed many activities together. We've been canning tomatoes, freezing corn, picking cherry tomatoes every day, and eating peaches and plums like crazy. Last week we set up Grandpa & Grandma Landis' pup tent to see how many boys could fit inside. All four of my boys...Daddy, Malakai, Isaac and Gideon. Oh yes, the tent was shaking, Eric was laughing, Malakai was squealing with joy, and Isaac was wailing. And Gideon was just doing circles around them all. Good times.

We also enjoyed some time with our friends Phil & Alison at their pool. They have a blow up whale that looks like Shamoo so it's basically like being at Sea World. Malakai enjoyed splashing in the water with his friend, Alivia.

And Isaac is scooting and spinning around. He wants to crawl so badly but just hasn't quite figured it out yet. 7.5 months old now. He brings us so much joy. Malakai can now entertain him for hours on end. Mommy loves it! We have enjoyed a 7 week break from weddings over the heat of the summer. I have still been doing smaller portrait sessions but only 1 or 2 a week. It's been so refreshing to have time with our family and friends on the weekends. Now we start back up again this coming weekend. Our minds, hearts, and spirits are refreshed and ready to capture weddings once again. Looking forward to returning to that part of my life.
