Greg & Steph-October 13th

Eric and I headed to James St. Mennonite Church on Saturday for our friend Greg's wedding. Steph is from sweet home Alabama so it was fun to have her family in for the big day. It was a gorgeous day for outdoor pictures which we were able to get a lot of. One of my favorite things about the day was what Greg and Steph did for their unity act. Instead of candles or pouring sand, they actually planted a big green plant. Greg brought dirt from his home (PA) and Steph brought dirt from Alabama and they mixed the two soils together symbolizing their two lives coming together as one. I had never seen that done before so I appreciated their creativity. The day was a lot of fun for us because a lot of the guests were friends of ours. Greg and Steph, may you enjoy every moment of newly-wedded-ness (yes, that is a word!) We are excited to walk the journey of marriage with you here in Lancaster City.
