Sunday afternoon the rain was chasing us but we didn't get wet. Troy and Nicole had an outdoor wedding at a farm in Millersville. The storm came through about a half an hour before the wedding was supposed to begin. Instead of being stressed out (like most brides and grooms are with outdoor weddings), these guys just said, "Oh well, we'll just push back the start time 30 minutes and still have it outside." Case closed, no big deal. So it gave us some extra time to do portraits with the relaxed couple while everyone else kicked it into high gear, wiping off wet and muddy chairs, making sure all the grandmas had their sweaters (it was chilly after it rained), and getting all the last minute details together. I really had a lot of fun with these two and I can't imagine either of them ever getting worked up about anything. I did their engagement pictures last fall and Troy's family pictures too, so I really felt like part of the family at this wedding. It was fun to know the entire extended family by name! Troy & Nicole, you are a really great couple and I hope to keep in touch with you over the years to come. Here's a few images to wet your appetite...
