Ren & Julie: Hitched

Yes, I'll take a beautiful outdoor fall wedding please! There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the temperature was perfect for Ren & Julie's wedding day. Eric and I were pretty much shooting non-stop from the time we arrived until the minute we went home. There were just endless photo opportunities. Ren's parents had their property in tip top shape for the big event and it was absolutely gorgeous...a dream, really. They just built this incredible barn where the reception was held. It was so fun to actually have natural light pouring through the windows at a reception. We barely had to use flash.

Last summer, I photographed Julie's sister, Natasha's wedding so of course it was fun to be interacting with some of the same family members. Ren & Julie have this quiet, steady love. The kind of love that makes you believe that they will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary here on earth together. Congratulations, newlyweds! Here's a peek into their wedding day...
