River Fun

Yesterday we spent the day with our good friends, Ryan & Denise and their 4 month old son, Hayden. They live in North Carolina and are back for a few weeks visiting PA. Eric's parents have a boat so we loaded up all 6 of us and headed to the river for the afternoon. Our two little boys did wonderful. The water was really rough so it was like a constant rocking chair for them and they both slept quite a bit. I on the other hand was getting seasick and thought I might not keep my lunch down. Everyone enjoyed tubing, water skiing, and wake boarding despite the choppy water. There is a sand bar where lots of boats park and it's shallow enough that you can touch the bottom and enjoy some swimming. Malakai and Hayden wore life vests for the first time and were so cute. I think Malakai looked like a little round doughnut! We got the boat out of the water just before a huge rainstorm came. Perfect timing, honey...we didn't have a moment to spare. Ryan & Denise, it was so fun to hang out as families yesterday. We love you and treasure our time spent together.
